Upgrade Shaft Type

The following is a brief description of the characteristics of the various shaft options.

Fiberglass:
  • The standard shaft used for "Custom Batons"
  • More flexible than graphite or wood
  • Sturdier than graphite or wood
  • Will not warp over time
Hollow Graphite:
  • Adds $6 to the cost of a baton
  • Lighter than fiberglass
  • Less flexible than fiberglass
  • Slightly thinner diameter than fiberglass
  • Will not warp over time
Wood:
  • Adds $6 to the cost of a baton
  • Lightest shaft
  • Most fragile shaft
  • Slightly thicker diameter than fiberglass
  • Available in natural birch (lacquered), or painted glossy white
